As some of you may know from my excitement this past week, my wonderful handsome boyfriend came home from college this weekend to see me. I was a bit worried at first because it started out as only an 80% chance that he was going to come home. But he did come home and let me just say that it was WONDERFUL!!!!
After five weeks of not seeing him as soon as he pulled into my driveway late Friday night I ran to him and gave him a big hug, practically knocking him over. Oh my goodness I missed hugging that kid. Followed by our Friday night reunion was the Wooster Farmer's Market early Saturday morning (for my work...), steaks with his family, some much needed down time, and another day with the Shearers. It was WONDERFUL!!!!
I calculated that the entire weekend I only spent twelve hours apart from John. Oh my goodness it was amazing. I had anticipated it for so long and now it has come and gone so quickly. And I can't wait to see him again...Well...actually....I can wait because once the thing you anticipat comes, it goes by extra fast, which isn't cool... But look on the bright side, at least now I only have to wait three weeks until I get to see him again! I really wish it would come up fast, but only if it would go extra slow once it comes. That would be just perfect.
Well...anyway...I'm really tired so I better go....but let me just say that...
I LOVE JOHN ALGIRE SHEARER!!!!
Keep smiling :)
And laughing of course...

This blog has no title
Hello all! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer, and if not then you had better start because it is almost over! Yes...it's true...summer is just about winding down to an end. I think I first realized this when I drove by the Perrysville Junior High and read the message on the marque, "Enjoy the rest of summer." If that isn't a kick in the face I don't know what is...They might as well have written "Hahaha, your precious summer vacation is almost over. Soon you will be trapped in the tortourous world of school and there's nothing you can do about it! Hahaha!"
So yeah...anyway...basically I've been up to just about nothing. I went back to Put-in-Bay last weekend with my cousins, Lauren and Twila. We've gone every summer since I was a freshman, so it was our fifth annual year. We drove around in a golf cart, I kicked butt in putt putt (believe it!), and did some other cool cousiny stuff. It was fun. Then we came back and these past two days I have been enjoying my free time because I'm only working two days this week...yeah...let's not get into that though...
Alright, so basically there is only one thing really worth blogging about right now, and that is...my new cell phone ringer! That's right folks! Some of you may remember that last November I bought Accidentally in Love by the Counting Crows as my new ringer and I absolutely love it! But last night a friend sent me a text message with a sound...and I saved that sound and now it's my new ringer! And what is it, you ask? Well, none other than the best nintendo theme ever! Donkey Kong! That's right! I now have the Donkey Kong theme as my ringer! You have my permission to be completely and utterly jealous. Heehee.
Well, that's about it. I shall try to write again before I head off to Oxford for yet another school year. Only three more left! (hopefully) Peace out!
Keep smiling :)
(And if you're not smiling, then you'd better start!)

Put-in-Bay and some other randomness
Hello all! Wow...either I have no motivation to write whatsoever or I lead a rather uneventful life...hm...I'm afraid it's most likely the latter. Basically all I've been doing these past couple of weeks is working (although I still don't work as often as I'd like to) and hanging out at home doing nothing. However, recently I did manage to have some fun with my girlfriends. Yep...this past Sunday and Monday I went on a little vacation to Put-in-Bay with the lovely Tiffani, Amy, Beth, Bri, and Marissa. And I must say it was wonderful.
We putt putted, played some rousing games of Hangman, swam in Lake Erie (ick...it's like swimming in a huge toilet...), and ate at Pasquales, my favorite island restaurant (even though it's overpriced and my food came out at least ten minutes later than everyone elses'). Needless to say I had an absolutely wonderful time. It was really nice to spend some quality time with the girls before we all go back to college, which by the way I leave August 20th...less than 3 weeks... Oh! And I got a little sunburn. You know what that means! Hopefully it will turn into tan. Yay! I'm so freaking white these days.
Guess what I've been doing! Well...not a lot, just whenever I can...playing tennis! Oh yes! It is SO much fun! I really suck and I still don't completely understand how to play correctly, but it's fun nonetheless. And it gives me a good workout. I'm chasing after the ball all the time, so it's like the same workout as running...which I also try to do as much as possible, but that's not working out so hot. I really need to get my act together and run/play tennis every morning. Especially before it gets so darn hot. I mean, honestly. What is with all this freaking hot weather?! I know it's summer, but come on! I am so not a summer kind of girl. Of course there are many aspects of summer that I love, such as summer nights, summer lightening storms, and other stuff, but I can honestly say that summer is my least favorite season. I really can't wait until autumn, or what I like to call Fair weather. That's right. The time of the Loudonville free street fair. Just jeans, tennis shoes, and a sweatshirt. Now that's what I'm talking about.
Alrighty, well I suppose I better go before this blog entry gets any worse...it's only 10:15 so I'll probably play some Sims before I head off to bed. Yeah...I've totally gone back in time to Junior High...well...the good part of Junior High because let's face it, Junior High sucked. Anyway...yeah...peace out!
Keep smiling :)

It's totally been two months since I last posted
Wow...time sure does fly when you're having fun. And I really mean it. One day I'm enjoying all the time I get to spend with my wonderful boyfriend and the next day I'm watching him leave for college. And that really sucks. College sucks. I mean it. And I don't care how many people disagree and say, "college is the best four years of your life!" In fact I'm sick of hearing people praise college so much and then look down on me for not sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to go back. I love my spending time with my family and friends and being home. Home is in Loudonville, not Miami University! (Although I do really like the school and am glad I chose it)
But anyway...yeah summer has been going great. I've gottten to go to Put-in-Bay twice. Once with my family and once with John for the Fourth of July fireworks. That was really great. I got to spend two straight days with my boyfriend and I got to see my cousins that I don't get to see that often. I've also been working...not really as much as I want, but oh well...no complaining here. I'm not much of a complainer. Always look on the bright side of life I say! Or so Monty Python says...because they're freaking awesome.
So now I've only got a little over a month left before I head back to school. I guess I'll just be working and hanging out...hopefully I'll be spending lots more time with family and friends. I suppose I should try and keep this thing updated. Especially since Marissa and Tyrus are still blogging it up, and especialy since John will need more stuff to do instead of homework. Heehee. Well, it is 1:10 in the morning and I need to wake up bright and early to run! Yeah, that's right. I am totally running now...well...not every day...but as often as I can...well sometimes I just sleep in...shut up! I'm trying here!
Keep smiling :)

I am not a loser!
Well unfortunately I'm a loser and I haven't updated this thing yet. Actually...I think I'd be more of a loser if I had nothing better to do than write a new blog post every day. So yay for me for not being a loser!
Not much has been going on. I've worked some, but not much because I'm not really getting as many hours as I had hoped or planned on. I found out that I will only be working about 3 1/2 days a week at Broken Rocks. Which is definitely not really enough considering it's the only job I have right now. So hopefully I can get more hours soon because everyone knows how much money us college kids need. I'll also try to babysit as much as possible, but it will be difficult to get hours from Marissa. Babysitting hog, lol. But if I don't get more work I might have to look into getting a second job of some sort, which but I don't really want to. I'd rather just work a lot at Broken Rocks because I like waitressing. I think it suits me well. I'm really hoping I can just get more hours.
Other than that I've just been spending time hanging out and relaxing. I've been getting to see a lot of my boyfriend (yeah, that's right! I am no longer single. Go figure). Also I got to hang out with the Fab Five minus one last night. Tiffani, Amy, Marissa, and I (Ashley is still at college) went to see Just My Luck, the new Lindsay Lohan movie. Yes, I admit I'm curious enough to pay money to see it...and I must say it was actually better than I thought it would be, although there was still a little lack of talent on Lindsay Lohan's part.
I also got my wisdom teeth taken out a week ago...all four of them. I got put to sleep with an IV and I am still freaking bruised from it! WTF?! Oh well, the IV wasn't so bad. Which is a good thing because that's what I was mostly worried about. I'm sort of a wuss when it comes to needles. Shots and surgeries on the mouth I can handle. Heck I had 10 teeth pulled and a bit of gum surgery. That was nothing, but shots...that's another story. But overall it was really not that bad at all. I was on vicodin straight for two days so that probably helped. Yeah...I like vicodin. lol
Alrighty, well I had better go now. I hope everyone enjoys this beautiful weather...yeah right...it's been raining for like a week. Oh well. It will get better.
Keep smiling :)

Can you believe it?!
Wow...can you believe that it's been a year since I started writing in this thing again? Which means, it's been a year since my last birthday! That's right! I am now 19 years old. Yay for me! One more year and I'll be two decades old...geesh...I'm getting old. I don't want to grow up. You know, last year on my birthday I was a senior in high school and this year on my birthday I'm totally a sophomore in college. Now if that isn't crazy I don't know what is.
So yesterday for my birthday I went to my cousin Josh's wedding, and it was wonderful. Very beautiful. So since we did that all day yesterday I get to celebrate my birthday today. So we're having cake and ice cream in like an hour. Yum Yum! I'm excited, even though I feel like I've been eating nothing but desserts since lent ended and it's the least thing I need right now, especially since I don't have a very convenient rec center a two minute walk away anymore. Which means I need to start running or something....dear me.
So I have been home for summer for about five days now! And let me just say that it is amazing! Now only have I not had to do any schoolwork, but I've started working again (chaching!) and I get to see my wonderful family. And not to mention my friends...this one guy in particular :) So you know me I've just been chilling by the beach getting a tan. Ha ha. No...if you think that then you DON'T know me. I've basically been trying to get my room organized and all cleaned and working. Which will basically be my entire summer. Well, not so much the cleaning. But definitely working and spending time with friends and family!
So I'll be sure to try and keep updating this thing as much as possible, but then again it doesn't really matter because I doubt anyone will even continue reading this thing now that the summer is here and we'll all be so busy with work. But you never know, so stay tuned! Oh, and I am totally getting my wisdom teeth taken out this Tuesday...and I am VERY scared, and going to probably be VERY puffy-faced and sad just sitting here all alone at my house. So if anyone wants to come visit me then be my guest! Just don't laugh at my blimp of a face.
Keep smiling :)
