I want to break free

For those of you who would rather read my blog instead of talk to me about my life, here you go...

Alright, so where to begin? Oh my gosh, what a day. First off, I woke up late Friday morning, so I was running late to go pick up our order of senior pictures in Millersburg. Which means I didn't have time to take a shower before, and was rushed getting ready for the concert later. But oh well, it was all good. We ended up getting rid of all the tickets, Laya and Brian jumped in on the last minute. But then, Friday a little before we were going to leave Brian had to go back home and work on his sociology report that he hadn't finished yet. Sorry, Brian, it would have been nice to have you there, but we've got all of summer to hang out, even though it won't involve the Killers, lol.

So, we all drove to Columbus: Luke, Laura, Rachel, Theresa, Matt, Brandon, Laya, Marissa, and I, and we met Ashley, Mike, Amy, and Laura there. Then we made our way to the concert place and these two big black guys (not being racist...it would have been just as freaky if they were two big white guys) came right up to Marissa saying, "you got the extra ticket?!" And so they were all like, "Let me see the ticket"...being really close to her and whatnot. They offered $20, but Marissa wanted to get at least the money she paid so she could give Tiff back her money for not going. So Matt, being all brave and cool as he is, was like, "$40" and the dudes wouldn't give that much, so Marissa was like, "$30" and they agreed. But they were like trying to take the ticket before and it was just freaky...oh well...

Then we waited in a line that we expected to be rather long, but was actually quite short, for about 3 hours. And it even rained for a while, that was fun, lol. Then they opened the gates and we went and stood in our spots for the conert, we were rather close to the stage, it was cool. So then we waited there, standing still, for 2 hours until finally the opening band, "Hot Hot Heat" came out and played for 45 minutes. They were okay, the lead guy had wicked curly hair, and the guitarist was really sweet. Then during the other 45 minutes we waited after the opening band, for the Killers, these girls tried to crowd and push their way to the front, which is bound to happen, but it was already really crowded. So everyone was getting thrown this way and that way and by the time the girls got there, we were like an extra 5 feet back from the stage and it was so crowded that if we were naked babies would have been made, lol. I was so crunched that I couldn't move an inch and I was so freaking hot, as was everyone else I'm sure, and it smelled, mostly like cigarettes (courtesy of this guy who Rachel was flirting with, we called "eyeliner guy") and joints (courtesy of these two lesbian girls...who were apparently making out as well...but I couldn't see a single thing)

Then finally the Killers came on and I was excited, but I couldn't see a single thing unless I stood on my tiptoes, in which case I could see a hint of Brandon Flowers...whom Amy and Laura W. had talked about kidnapping and raping....but anyway...after about 2 songs of the Killers this idiot guy tried to crowd surf, even though nobodies hands were even up, and he came down and landed straight on my head. It freaking hurt and left me with a horrible headache. So I decided that I had experienced enough up there and it would be best for me to make my way out of the craziness and back to the lawn to watch. So I made my way back and finally made it through all the drunk people, lol. Then Mike saw me, and I watched the rest of the concert with Mike, Ashley, Caitlin, and Josh from the lawn where I could breath, and move! I enjoyed the concert much better where I could see and had enough room to dance.

So they played all the good songs; "Indie rock and roll," "Mr. Brightside," "Somebody told me," "Smile like you mean it," and they even played two new songs. They were okay. So the whole time I had to go to the bathroom and I wanted to buy a shirt before the line got too long, but I didn't want to leave until I saw them play my favorite song, "All these things that I've done." But I waited and waited and they never played it, so I was like, "forget it, I'm going to pee my pants." So I went to the bathroom, and I hear Brandon Flowers say, "Alright, this is our last song" and go figure, it's my favorite song! So, I heard it, but I didn't get to see them rock out with it, that sucked.

So after the concert ended I found Marissa, Matt, and Brandon, in which Marissa told me someone spit gum in her hair, lol. But then we found everyone else and went back to the cars, then we went to Wendy's, the drivethrough, we went like 3 times, lol. It was fun. Then we all basically slept on the way home, except for Matt who was driving, thank God he didn't fall asleep, lol. So I got home and went to bed, I think.

Alright, so Saturday I slept in til 1:30! That was really sweet! Then I worked on graduation invitations and did senior pictures, and cleaned my room, then a bunch of us went to see "The Longest Yard" for Ashley Beagle's birthday. It was an awesome movie! Seriously, it was just awesome! You have to see it, all of you! Then I got home and talked on aol until about 2:15 in the morning, lol, completely spoiling all the sleep I had made up. Now I'm tired again, lol. But it's okay, I'd rather have a good conversation and be tired than have no conversation and have plenty of sleep.

So, today I went to church, came home and babysat until about 4. Then I got ready and went to Trevor's graduation party with Marissa and Amy, then we went to Scott's graduation party, and then I went to my cousin's house for a bonfire thing, but I didn't stay long. Then I came home and watched the pilot of "Desperate Housewives." I wish I'd gotten into it earlier, it was my kind of show, like a sort of Sex and the City meets a soap opera. It was cool considering I love Sex and the City and all those teenage soap operas like One Tree Hill and whatnot. So after getting a lot of graduation invitations done I got on aol and had some conversations with some people and some not-so conversations with others, lol.

And now I am so off to bed because I have a family get together tomorrow. Maybe I'll go to the parade, I don't know, it depends how tired I am I suppose. Alright, well, before I leave I'd like to point out these lyrics to the Queen song, "I want to break free." Awesome song, and it's perfect for what I'm thinking these days.

I Want to Break Free - Queen
I want to break free
I want to break free
I want to break free from your lies
You’re so self satisfied I don’t need you
I’ve got to break free
God knows God knows I want to break free

I’ve fallen in love
I’ve fallen in love for the first time
And this time I know it’s for real
I’ve fallen in love yeah
God knows God knows I’ve fallen in love

It’s strange but it’s true
I can’t get over the way you love me like you do
But I have to be sure
When I walk out that door
Oh how I want to be free baby
Oh how I want to be free
Oh how I want to break free

But life still goes on
I can’t get used to living without living without
Living without you by my side
I don’t want to live alone hey
God knows got to make it on my own
So baby can’t you see
I’ve got to break free

I’ve got to break free
I want to break free yeah
I want I want I want I want to break free....

The best possible way to spend my last night as a high schooler

Well, let's see...It's now 12:30 at night and although I have one last scholarship to do (that's right, my last one!) I feel that this is more important.

Last Sunday I concentrated on scrapbooks and guess what! I'm so finally done! That's right, finally! After some 30 hours of work I finally finished Trevor's basketball scrapbook, and just in time too, considering his graduation party is this Sunday. I'm glad I scheduled my graduation party for June 12th, the week after graduation, because there are like 20 of my friends on June 5th. It will be nice being able to go to all of theirs and say hi.

As many of you know, this was my last week ever of high school! Now, that's sort of a good thing because I'm really sick of putting up with certain people and whatnot and it means no more school work until college, but I'm really really sad. I can not imagine not seeing my friends everyday. I mean, after graduation I may never see some of my classmates every again! That's really sad because we're such a close class. And of course, the best class ever!!! Yeah, you know it! So, I'm really really going to miss everyone! Even the people I never talked to will be slightly missed, just because I'm that sad.

Alright, so Tuesday night we had our last choir concert ever...not counting graduation. As soon as I got there I realized that I had forgotten to tape the 2 hour season finale of "One Tree Hill" so as soon as we were done singing Beth drove me home and I taped it. Then I get back to the concert and while the band is playing for like an hour, I watch the show in the choir room, that was cool, lol. I know, I'm such a loser, watching teenage soap operas, but I don't care what you think, I watch the show for one main reason, and his name is James Lafferty. Yeah, Chad Michael Murray is cute too, but I prefer dark hair. (just like Orlando Bloom!!!) :)

Wednesday was an okay day, but the best part about Wednesday was night. It started off with me getting off work around 9:15 after making $60 in tips. (It just keeps getting better as we get closer to summer) So, I have, get this, three missed calls. People barely ever call me unless they have something specific to talk to me about, except Marissa. We'll call each other if we're on separate floors in the house because we're both so lazy. Haha. So one message is from my cousin, Lauren, who is back from college for a week, since she has summer classes. So I drive up to her house to see her and talk for 20 minutes or so. Then I go to Ashley's house and use her scanner so I have pictures for my graduation invitations. Yes, of course I waited until the last possible moment to do those. So after much trouble, and I mean a ridiculous amount of time was spent trying to scan these 5 pictures, I finally get home. I finish the invitations and then I pack!

Why do I pack, you ask? Because Tiffani, Amy, Marissa, Ashley, and I decided that we wanted to spend our last night as high schoolers together. So we all go to Ashley's new house, which is behind David Herman's (now she doesn't have to go out of her way to stalk him, haha) Just messing, Ashley. Now, the best part about this is that Ashley's family isn't moved into the house yet so there is no furniture and no parents, just us girls in this empty house, lol. We all set up bed in Ashley's room, which thankfully had carpet, lol.

After pigging out on pretzels we decide we want more food, of course...So Tiff and I go to Mickey Mart to buy some, and I get this cool idea. At least I thought it was cool, and even though the other girls made fun of me, they thought it was a cool idea too. We all wrote our nicknames on a 5 dollar bill: Ashley Beagle, Amy Dot, Katherine Runt, Marissa Grunt, Tiffani Martini, and even though she wasn't there, she's still in our main friend group, Beth Ajimitaji. So, then Tiffani and I used the dollar bill to buy our food at like 1 in the morning.

So, there we all are, talking (subconciously avoiding reminiscing about the good old days) and listening to all types of mix c.d.s with music that we used to listen to way back when. (i.e. N'Sync, Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, etc.) So, while taking loads of crazy pictures of just messing around, we decide to update the infamou "tampon" picture, lol. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, just ask. So, after that Tiff calls her boyfriend and we sing a song on his voice message. Then we get the idea to call Matt Burd and sing him a song. So, although it's like 2:30 in the morning, we call Matt and he answers. So when he does, we're like, "Are you awake? Here's a little graduation present..." and we sing him the chorus to Escape (If you like Pinacoladas...) I think he didn't mind us waking him up just to sing him that song.

So, we decide that since Matt enjoyed it so much, and we were all still wide awake, to call other seniors cell phones and sing to them, voice message or in person, didn't matter. So we pick songs for each person, and end up calling about 12 seniors between 2:30 and 4 in the morning. Sorry to those who didn't appreciate being woken up, and sorry to those who didn't get called and would have enjoyed being serenaded by the Fine Five! lol. So, finally, after calling each others phones and singing "Build Me Up" on our voice messages for memories sake, we decide to get a little sleep at 5 in the morning.

That was just the best possible way to spend my last night as a high schooler. I couldn't think of a group of people I'd rather be with than my wonderful friends. So then after studying a total of 15 minutes for my Spanish final, I head to school and basically spend the entire day just walking around the school a million times. It was a very relaxing last day. So, after school I totally miss my "end of the day" experience because I'm in an interview for a scholarship. So by the time I get out everyone is mostly gone and I just start crying...lol. I knew it would come eventually, lol.

So after school I come home and take a nap, oversleep, and am late for the senior meeting at the bus, lol. So I get there, talk about top secret stuff, and just hang out. Now here I am, still procrastinating because I have that one last scholarship to do. And although I really don't want to do it, I must.

Just to update on a few things before I go....KILLERS CONCERT TOMORROW! I'm so freaking excited! Can't wait.

~Katherine

P.S. I won't say my senior goodbyes yet since we still have senior breakfast, Senior night, and graduation.

Great friends!

Well, the rest of this week wasn't so bad. Thursday I had to work, and that wasn't too bad. I made like $40 in tips, so that was good. Thursday night while talking online I got some news, and that didn't really make me feel so good. Let's just say I got barely any sleep and the next day I was rather depressed. It's strange, I can be depressed inside, yet still appear to have a good time, and be somewhat happy outside. I guess it's a good thing so people don't know when I'm so depressed.

Alright, so I did not want to work Friday night, especially since I wasn't in the best of spirits. Brandon Smith is such a sweetheart. I told him what I was sad about and he went out and bought me flowers. I wanted to cry. It is so great to have friends like him who really care about me. Britt has also been great, always listening when I need to talk, and Seth too. And it's especially great to have my sibby, Marissa, who understands and is there for me. It's so great to know that we can be fighting the next minute and then comforting each other the next. And it's also so great to have so many friends left when I lose one. So, thank you to all of my friends, even if all you do is talk to me and make me laugh during school or online.

Alright, so I went to work Friday night, and we were so freaking busy. I finally got out of there at 9:40, and I called Brian, and he came and picked me up. Then I went to his house and we watched The Last Samuri. It was a really great movie and I had a really great time. Brian is a really nice guy and funny too. (And my parents said he was a good looking boy), lol. I really had a great time and it was nice to get my mind off things. Thanks, Brian, hopefully we can do it again sometime. (By the way, I'm listening to that Freshman song...lol

So today I went to breakfast with Brandon for his birthday. Happy Birthday again, Brandon! Then after breakfast I came back home and basically slept until my cousin, Cody's wedding. He married Ashley Jenkins today. It was so sweet, their first song to dance to was "I Wanna Grow Old With You" by Adam Sandler from The Wedding Singer, and he was singing to her. It was so cute. Alright, so I came home, cleaned my room, wrote in my journal...and now I just got a call from Sugar Lips and he wants me to come out there because they've got a fire going...or something, lol. I guess I'm probably going out there, lol. So I'll catch you all later.

What's with this weather?

Okay, so I'm not a huge fan of the hot summer weather. I would much rather prefer nice autumn weather where it's breezy enough for a light jacket with jeans, but still, it's supposed to be warmer than this. I mean, come on, it's getting toward the end of May...All I know is it better be beautiful out on graduation day. But I guess if I'm complaining about wanting warmer weather the least I could do is go buy some actual summer clothes, considering I've gained so much weight nothing fits me anymore.

Alright, so let's see...This week has been rather bearable. Monday and Tuesday we were scrambling to get the Senior issue of the Redbird finished so we could take it to print. And I'm happy to say that that's finally done with. It will be an actual printed copy that will be handed out to all seniors for free, and all you other people can buy during lunch or something. Now people will actually read the paper. Knowing my friends though, even though the paper will be right in their hands they still won't read my article, lol. Oh well, at least I read it...

I don't think the fact that I only have 6 more days left of high school has sunk in yet...it just feels like the normal end of the school year. I'm guessing that come next Thursday I'll realize that I'm never going back to high school forcefully ever again, and I'll start to cry...Just a heads up, I expect to be crying my last day, senior night, and graducation, lol.

These last few days are such a breeze. Spanish is always easy so nothing to worry about there, English 12C, which I like to call the big joke class considering the class is...a big joke!, is going to be a piece of cake. We're working on a power point about "What we've learned over our 13 years." lol, my number one lesson..."Never listen to the guidance counselors!" That would have to be the best advice in high school ever. American Studies is awesome. I'm not sure if we're going to have a final or not, but we just got done watching The Who video, "The Kids are Alright" and now we're watching National Treasure! That's twice in one week for me! I love that movie.

I've gotten like 3 more scholarships done...they just keep coming...it's like there is no end...And Trevor's scrapbook is seriously finally almost done. Hopefully I can give that to him next week sometime, well actually I better give it to him next week sometime because his graduation party is next weekend I think...I've been working on my senior pictures. I just ordered some more since I was stupid and wrote in ink pen, which smeared all over the pictures....duh, Katherine. So, if you didn't get a senior picture of mine and you want one then let me know.

Well, that's all I have to say as of now....here are some things to look forward to though...

MAY 27th - THE KILLERS CONCERT!!!! :)

Lonely

Lonely, I'm so lonely, I have nobody, forl my own. I know what you're thinking, that's really sad...but it's a really cool song. I don't know whether it's old or new, but it's by some guy name Akon (yeah...weird name). I think it's rap...maybe slow rap, I don't know. It's odd, I don't normally like rap, I mean, there are only a few rap songs I can stand, and this is definitely one of them. Why you may ask? Because it's got the awesome voice that sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks! The voice just keeps singing, "Lonely, I'm so lonely, I have nobody, for my own." If you haven't heard it, you need to, and least for a good laugh. Oh my, and now I just found out that it's a remake of an old song called Mr. Lonely by Bobby Vinton. That's cool.

Alright, now let's see...it's been about a week since I last updated...hm...what's new...First of all, I had an awesome week. It was just so relaxing, and I was in a much better mood. Even though I still had a lot on my mind and was still sort of depressed, because I mean, let's face it, I just need more time...but still I had such an awesome week. One of the nights, Twila came over and we watched National Treasure. It was freaking awesome! Good movie! I give it an 8 out of 10, 10 being the best. The end of the week started out great. Thursday night after I got off work Amy, Tiffani, Beth, and Ashley came over and we hung out and pigged out. It was awesome. Then Ashley and Beth left and the rest of us went to bed, but actually talked for like another hour. It was so much fun. Then Friday morning was, of course, senior skip day and about 14 of us seniors went to breakfast at Denny's. That was cool. I just love how we have different groups in our class, but those groups can mix up and we can all get along so well. We just have the best class ever! You all know it's true!

Alright, so the rest of my senior skip day was pretty cool, except that I had to go back to school. That sucked, but oh well. Alright, so Cafe Redbird was ridiculously long Friday night, and so I didn't get to Matt Rooks' senior party until like 11:30, and then I left around 12:45, and it was raining crazy. It was hard driving home. Then Friday night I slept in until 2 p.m. I got 12 hours of sleep! That felt really good. then Saturday night after Cafe Redbird I ruined it by only getting 5 hours, that sucks. So now I'm all tired again. Sigh, oh well. So, today was rather long. I went to church, then my cousin's first communion party, then to Acres of Fun with Project Support, where I came in 5 out of 5 in laser tag, and 1st out of 4 in go karts.

Alright, so I suppose overall I would give this week a 7 out of 10, 10 being the best. I'm still hoping for a 10 week, but that probably won't happen for a while. ..oh well, I can at least hope they'll only get better as time goes on. Well, again, I'm sorry this was so long, but hey, I'm not holding you at gunpoint to make you read this. Catch you all later, bye.

Prom was just so wicked awesome! Out of all the dances I've ever attended in high school this prom was my all time favorite! Okay, so to start off the day I woke up early since I needed to take a shower before my 9:00 a.m. hair appointment. Bri Hansen did my hair, and it turned out nice, just how I wanted it. She also put so much hair spray in that it wouldn't move at all, which was great considering I didn't want it falling out before I even got to the dance. Then I came home and realized that since I already had my hair and nails done, and I already shaved, I really had nothing left to do until like 2:30. So I worked on Trevor's scrapbook and watched some television.

So then 2:30 came around, I put my makeup on, and my dress, and then all my other stuff, and I was good to go. Will got here and then Sam got here, and then Ashley, Sam Coey, and Brandon came. So we took loads of pictures and then headed off to Grand March in our van. We went to Grand March, did all that, took loads more pictures, and then loaded up into the green monster, Ashley and I in the middle with our puffy dresses. We all went to Friday's, Sam Koppert, Marissa, Ashley, Sam Coey, Jasmine Shaeffer, Bobby Plant, Tiffani, Brad, Will, and I, where there was a 45 minute wait. We finally ate, and then left for the dance.

We arrived at the dance about 45 minutes late, but no big deal. I had an awesome time at the dance! I danced with all my girls, took loads of pictures with Marissa's new digital camera, all of which are possibly deleted because Marissa accidentally did something that she wasn't supposed to with her camera. :( So anyway, my goal was to dance during every slow song, and I believe I did, unless I was getting pictures or something. The music wasn't that unbearable. I didn't recognize a lot of it, but there wasn't too much rap, so that was cool. However, the dj didn't have "Billy Jean"! What kind of a dj doesn't have "Billy Jean"?! I was mad, oh well. Bohemian Rhapsody was cool again, but nothing can top last year.

So, after the dance I went to Post Prom where I did the go karts once (came in last, but had fun), laser tag once (most likely came in last), and spent like 20 minutes in the ball pit, where I scraped both my elbows. I now have bandaids on both elbows, and they hurt like crazy. I played a few arcade games, ate some food, and just hung out with my friends. It was fun. I also won like some gift certificates for free buffalo wild wings at this one bar and grill place, but I've never been there and will never go there so I gave them to Will.

I left Acres of Fun around 3:45 amd tthen went to Scott's house. Some people were watching Kung Pow upstairs, but I was dead tired, and knew I wouldn't stay awake for any of the movie anyway, so a few of us went downstairs and started watching the Ninja Turtles movie, lol. I haven't seen that movie for a very very long time, but I still didn't watch it. I was out like a light as soon as it started. I woke up at 7:30, was going to go to 8:00 mass, but decided God wouldn't mind if I just skipped one week to get an extra hour of sleep. So I slept some more, then Will and I drove into Loudonville.

This morning I went to the Mother's day breakfast thing at the Legion that we go to every year. Then after wishing my mom, grandma, and aunts a happy mother's day, I came home to clean the house a bit. Then at 10:00 my boss' two girls came over, Grace and Georgia. Then I watched them until 5:00. We played everything that we still have from when I was little, and we went to the Park, McMullen school, and library, as well as watch the first half of Alice in Wonderland, and Sillywim in Sillyville. It was the longest and slowest day ever! So, I was going to go to bed after they left, but I decided that if I went to bed I wouldn't be able to wake up until morning. So, here I am, writing in my blog, and doing my last minute school work before I take a shower and head off to bed.

Alright, well I realize that all my blog entries are rather long...and I apologize. It's the writer in me to write every single detail...so if you don't like reading these long entries...then don't. :) Alright, well I'm done now. Catch you all later.

My 18th Birthday

Well, today was a special day indeed. What special day you ask? Why my 18th birthday of course! Let's see I started off the day completely forgetting it was my birthday until my sister said, "Katherine, happy birthday, turn off your alarm!" I found it rather funny. And then I got to my phone and found that Brandon had texted me a Happy Birthday...at 6:30 in the morning, lol. He was the first besides Marissa to wish me a happy birthday. So I took a shower, and finally found something to wear. I love the way every color looks with my new tan (courtesty of Prime Cut's spray tan), but I'm still a bit chubby so it was hard choosing a shirt to wear.

I was a bit late for school, but when aren't I late? But I didn't get a tardy because we had a NHS meeting. It was cool because I was talking to Marissa completely unaware that everyone had started singing to us, lol. It was rather humorous. So I went to Spanish where we finished watching Robin Hood: Men in Tights. That was one funny movie. Then my day continued and it got to lunch, when Marissa and I left school to go to lunch at Broken Rocks, just the two of us. But when we went to the office to sign out we found that there were two vases of flowers in the office, and guess who they were for! One for Marissa and one for myself. And guess who from! Sam Koppert. It's sweet enough to get your girlfriend flowers for her birthday, but to get some for her twin sister too, is just so sweet. I really appreciated it, since I myself have no boyfriend to give me flowers.

Then after lunch we headed back to choir and basically did nothing. That was also nice. Also, another great thing I got at school was a birthday card from my wonderful cousin, Brittany McMullen. It included pictures of Marissa, Britt, and I when we were little and recent ones. The card included a few inside jokes between the three of us, and I wanted to cry. Brittany is just about the best cousin ever! So, after school Marissa and I drove to Mansfield to get our nails done, for prom, and just because. We both got manicures and french tips, on our own nails of course, no fakes. I have never gotten a manicure before, it was cool. Now I can cross it off my list of things to do before I die (Yes, I have a list like that...)

So when we got home our grandparents were here for our little family party. My mom informed me that Seth stopped by, which was so nice of him, and we weren't there so she told him to come back for cake and icecream. So, Sam came over, and we all ate dinner. Then after dinner Seth came back and we had cake and icecream. Jello cake and ice cream! Jello cake is awesome just so you know. Alright, so after we stuffed ourselves(which wasn't a good idea for me considering prom is tomorrow...) we opened cards and presents.

I got a SHeDAISY c.d., I like them. Also I got a $25 gift certificate for the mall since my parents pitched in for Marissa's new digital camera. I think I'll eventually buy one too, but I don't need one just yet. I also got some money from my Aunt and Uncle and Grandma and Grandpa. Then we each got our main present, suitcases. They were the perfect gifts since we're just about to graduate and will be going to college soon. These suitcases are awesome, each one has like 5 suitcases, that all fit into the biggest one, pretty cool. Then my brother, Christian and his girlfriend Kate came and gave us each a very cute sunglass case and sunglasses, very cool.

So after all of this we just hung out a bit, and now here I am, just waiting for someone to get online to talk to. I should probably be working on Trevor's scrapbook or writing senior pictures (considering I'm really running out of time, but don't worry I'll have them done soon). However, I will probably procrastinate and stay up late doing nothing really, even though I should be getting sleep considering prom is tomorrow (night of no sleep whatsoever), my hair appointment is at 9 in the morning, and I have to babysit basically then entire day after prom....I must have been high when I agreed to do that....oh well though. Hopefully I'll have such a good time at prom it won't matter.

Alright, well I'm off. I'll update later on prom and the rest of my weekend. Maybe we'll have some stories to swab. Talk to you all later!

P.S. I can't believe my birthday is almost over...I won't have it again for another year....and then I'll be just finishing up my freshman year of college...wow...

It's been a (very long) while...

Alright, well I suppose I owe all you people who would care enough to read about me an apology because I started this this last summer right before school started...and well...obviously it's been a really long time since then. So...here I am....two days away from turning 18...less than a month away from graduating high school...and it's time to start writing and keeping people updated on me. So here it goes, wish me luck!

To start off I think I'll fill you in on some of the higlights of my life since I last wrote....
  • I was a cheerleader for basketball season, our boys made it to Final Four in Columbus, where I spent the weekend with the wonderful cheerleaders. I had the best time and love them all so very much!!! I especially loved staying in the hotel with the basketball boys, especially when they were swimming...with their shirts off of course. :)
  • I SURVIVED GOVERNMENT!
  • Still working at Broken Rocks, the food is awesome and so are the people who work there.
  • We've been having movie nights every so often. The first was in October and it was a scary movie night, then we had a few more...my favorite was when Peeping Tom (Brandon Smith) took off his pants just to throw them at Marissa...that was rather funny...
  • I spilled scolding hot coffee all over my hand...it freaking hurt.

Alright, well basically that's all I feel I need to update on since the rest of the year has basically just been normal. I hang out with friends, I go to school, the usual...

Now to update on more recent events. Music Man ended and it was my last performance as a high schooler. That was rather sad, but I had a great time. So sad. Thanks to my dancing partner, Nathan Donley, "he's so srong", lol. The Marian Librarian scene was the best of course, my favorite at least. Good job everyone who was in the play. The senior endowment fund auction and home run derby was last Sunday, it went rather well, except I felt so guilty since it was basically the seniors' parents spending tons of money. But I guess it's a worthy cause...

I turn 18 on Friday, but more on that later! Prom is this Saturday, it's my senior prom. So sad. I'm wearing my awesome dress that I bought last year since I didn't wear it last year. If you want to see the dress then you'll just have to come to prom and say hi :) I'm going to prom with Will Hansen, which is sort of ironic since we were dating last year during prom, but he couldn't go. So now, a year later, we're going together, but just as friends since we've been broken up since last summer. lol. But we're friends and we're going to have an awesome time.

Let's see...I started dating my best friend about two months ago, and that didn't turn out as planned, so I'm single! After one of the most miserable weeks of my life, I'm feeling a bit better, hopefully it just gets better as the days go by. If you want to talk to me about it, if you're curious what happened just ask, I would probably rather tell you then let you hear gossip from other people. And if you want a date then just ask, I'm sure we could work something out :)

Alright, well unfortunately I have a Spanish test tomorrow and you know how I love studying (yeah right). So, I'll probably be online for a little bit, procrastinating. Talk to you all later!
